Water circulators are used in conjunction with column jackets for an effective and economical temperature control of HPLC columns and Post Column Derivatization Kits (EPOCODS™).  The excellent heat exchange capability of circulating liquids ensures uniform temperature of the column without “hotspots”.  Water circulators with chilling capabilities can also be used to reduce HPLC column temperature to below ambient as an effective method for improving separations of temperature sensitive and chiral compounds, and interconverting diastereoisomers.
