MASTERFLEX® L/S® PERISTALTIC PUMP SYSTEMS

Peristaltic pumps are an economical yet accurate alternative to a second HPLC pump when adding a post-column chemical derivatization agent(s). Each system includes a Masterflex® peristaltic pump, L/S® standard pump head and tubing appropriate for your analytical needs.

Hundreds of applications have been documented for the use of post-column chemical derivatization including “The Sensitive Determination of Free Formaldehyde in Cosmetic Preservatives” (Joshua and Hillebrand, 2009) in which a Masterflex® single speed peristaltic pump was used to deliver a consistent 0.8mL/minute flow of post-column chemical derivatization agent.
